Standard questions

A friend of mine who just got married was kind of pissed that I asked him about when they would be having a baby. I mean, that is one of the standard questions that come with marriage. just like when are you getting a house? or where did you go for your honeymoon? these are questions that you will be asked over and over again. if you are gonna get pissed with every similar question that comes your way, you will get frustrated over nothing. the questions will come whether you like or not and if you are going to be sensitive over it...then just don't go out in public. friends and relatives are definitely going to ask...even if they don't ask you, your parents would be hounded as well...i just don't understand why he has got to be worked up about it...everyone goes through it, so do you think you are special and therefore should be spared....i don't think so!

about having a baby...for me and my hubby, in the beginning, we thought we would wait a while...settle down, stabilize our finances, get used to being married, enjoy each other's company...but then when we think about our aging parents, we know that we don't have the luxury of relaxing first. our main concern at that time was finance but we also know that a child is rezeki from Allah. and so, the journey begins...i stopped taking pills and just leave it to God.

alhamdulillah, the baby is growing wonderfully. in fact, we just had our 5 months scan the other day and the baby is healthy. the only thing is we still do not know if it's a boy or a girl. the doctor states that it is a girl with a question mark because we really can't see for sure. the baby still refused to open up the legs...hopefully, by the next checkup, we would be able to confirm the gender...
