Housing woes

last wednesday, we break fast together just the two of us but then we met abang malek, our house agent. so, he updated us on the house situation...

he said that he and khalid in discussions with HDB right now and HDB will call them up within this two weeks. The situation is like this: we want to buy a house before we actually get married. it would not be much of a problem if we are not taking the housing grant which is 30K. that is a lot of money which we cannot do without. so now, we are appealing to HDB to allow us to move in around feb/mar next year and produce the marriage cert in may after our wedding AND still get to use the grant. oh by the way, our marriage date would be 28th of May 2005!

wedding = headache

don't get me wrong. getting married is something that i can't wait but along with it comes worries, decision-making, headaches and more decision-making...

as of now, my wedding issues are taken care of by my wedding planner which is Kak Ina. despite that, i do have to make decisions. The baju nikah and baju sanding have been decided. I can't upload the photos cos I don't have the digitised version.

as for the food, my parents have discussed it with kak ina and decided on the types of food, so no more problems there. now, on my part, i need to prepare the berkat flowers, hantaran stuff. Now, that would be the fun part! We go shopping...hehehe...
