on MC today

i'm on MC today. very bad cough. did not get a good rest last nite. the cough woke me up. so, can't really teach with this irritating feeling in my throat, so took MC to rest.

it's ramadan. this year, i really welcome the fasting month. i intend to do as many ibadah as i possibly can. i am really trying hard to get the 5 waktus done. u know, there are times when the 5 waktus could not be met due to time constraint or plain laziness....very bad...i intend to change that and am really trying to get the 5 waktus completed.

waking up early for sahur is making me kind of tired. i wake up at around 4.30am, prepare the food, then clean up the kitchen, read the Quran, subuh then take a quick nap before waking up again at 7.30 to prepare my hubby for work. after he goes to work, i sometimes sleep but there are times when i had to make the bed and clear up some mess and head to school to do some work. oh man, talking about work, i forgot about the SEM report that i was supposed to hand in today. shit, i hope he don't mind me emailing it to him tomorrow....

i tried out just now and found that 6pm is not enough time to prepare the buka feast so i have to prepare the ingredients in the morning before going to school so that when i reach home at 6pm, i can start cooking and the meat would have time to cook before buka time...

right now, my baby is playing his computer game and me sitting next to him typing on my powerbook. oh yah, i forgot to update about our new car.

we actually booked a toyota vios last month with Boyan. then a few days back, he called to say that he needs my IC for registration. that means the car will be ready in about 1 week plus. so excited. actually we the decision to have a car is very much influenced by the fact that we decided to have a baby.

intially, we wanted a baby some time next year, after we are more ready. but now, we know that we are ready and we are working for it...very hard indeed, hehehe! so, that's where the car comes in. we really thought the car would be a financial burden to us but if we want to have a baby, we need a car. i don't think it's healthy for me (in terms of conceiving a baby) to be bopping up and down on the bike everyday, right? then, the issue of when the baby actually arrives, we need transport to ferry the baby back and fro from parent's place, so after careful financial planning, we figured that we can afford a car right now...insya'allah...
